I stayed here for one night and the room was very clean, comfortable and quiet. The owner, Phil, was extremely helpful by telling the best places to go to eat, hike, etc. The friendliness and hospitality of the staff is fantastic. I would absolutely stay here again.
It is a great motel at a reasonable price. But the best part is the location. The location is a hidden gem and there are not that many motel choices here.
Large rooms with a great view. Phill has answered every question with patience and kindness every single time. I took one star off for the giant spiderweb in the stairwell (wife hates spiders), the cracks in the walls and the burning outlets near the beds, they could of really hurt kids if mine had touched it. The rooms are huge, and offer kids who are cooped up for long periods a great way to stretch their legs at the end of the day. We used the over after a wedding we went to and it came with a couple of plates and a cooking sheet to cook some food on. The fridge was already cold and ready to be stocked. The rooms were clean with plenty of bedding and air conditioning.
We've spent three nights in the overlook motel. Rooms are big and clean. The owner is really helpful and knows the best spots in the area. Every morning you will also get a nice sunrise over eagle lake. I can recommend this place and would be happy to stay there again!
